Everyone kept telling me how dangerous parts of Atlanta were and honestly, I just didn’t want to hear it. I am a grown woman and I’m smart enough to take care of myself, or at least that’s what I thought until my house was broken into last month. That was all I needed to get scared straight, so I started taking extra precautions at home. I got that dog I’ve been wanting (what better excuse, right?) and invested in some pretty heavy deadbolts since the thieves just kicked in my door last time. I also looked into alarm systems at ATLANTAHOMESECURITY.com and some other sites and found a good one for my townhome that’s actually affordable. I feel a bit safer here now but I still don’t really like being here alone at night since that’s when the break in happened. I know it will get better over time but I’m still scared anytime I hear the slightest creak or bump! My advice to the ladies: listen when your friends tell you to be safe!
